Stanza stands for the Spanish Teachers' Association of New Zealand/Aotearoa. Over the past two decades, we have been supporting Spanish teachers and educators in New Zealand.

Each and every one of you is part of the group. Please let us know if you wish to play an active role. All support is appreciated and nominations accepted. Get in touch with us!
About us
This is what our association do:
1.
Maintain a website with information, activities and resources.
2.
Create practice NCEA-style exams each year for Levels 1, 2 and 3.
3.
Organise competitions for students with prizes and certificates.
4.
Organise activities for teachers: PDs, Jornada de Profesores de ELE, informal meetings.
5.
Represent teachers of Spanish with the Ministry of Education, NZQA, NZALT.
6.
Circulate information on activities, events, curriculum and assessment.
