These workshops aim to increase participants’ practical strategies and skills for incorporating AI tools in your language teaching and learning and to provide an open discourse around Chat GPT / AI and what is behind it. They will also take the view of using Chat GPT/AI as a team-teaching partner and look at how it can be incorporated into our teaching and learning of languages. Join our quarterly online meeting for Spanish language teachers! We get together online once a term to engage in casual conversation and share ideas relevant to our space.
In this third meeting, Professor Leonel Alvarado (School of Humanities Media and Creative Comm, Massey University) who is also a poet and an essayist will join us as an invited guest to share with us some of his poetry and expertise in Latin culture. He will also talk about writers’ creation process and how he applies in his teaching.

NCEA Spanish: Unpacking the changes

Description:
These two online workshops aim to support Spanish teachers in understanding the NCEA changes and preparing for their implementation in their teaching.
These workshops will be delivered by Annelies Mead, an NCEA Implementation Facilitator from the Ministry of Education, who will provide the course materials and deliver the content.

DELE preparation courses examinations

The DELE, issued by the Instituto Cervantes on behalf of the Spanish Ministry of Education, are official qualifications certifying levels of competence and command of the Spanish language.

Language Assistants Programme in Spain 2023-2024
